The short version
The Ledger Report is a single-player story game. It has no account, no login, no ads, and no social features. Your game progress is stored only on your device. The app collects anonymous gameplay statistics to help us improve the story — never your name, email, contacts, messages, photos, or location.
What we collect
From version 1.0.0 (38) onward, the app uses Google Firebase Analytics to record anonymous usage events, limited to:
- App interactions — e.g. which protagonist was started, which act a player reached, whether the unlock screen was viewed, and whether a purchase was completed or restored.
- Device or other identifiers — a resettable device identifier (including the Android advertising ID) and basic device information (model, OS version, country, language), used by Firebase to count users and sessions.
These statistics are not linked to your identity. We do not collect, and the app contains no means to collect, your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, photos, files, or the content of anything you type.
What we never do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not share data with third parties for advertising or marketing.
- We do not show ads, and the game contains no third-party ad SDKs.
- We do not require or create user accounts.
Purchases
The optional one-time purchase ("Unlock the full story") is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see your payment details. Your entitlement is stored on your device and with your Google Play account, which also enables "Restore purchase" on a new device.
Game saves & your right to be forgotten
All story progress lives in local storage on your device. You can permanently erase every trace of it at any time — see Delete My Data for the step-by-step instructions. Uninstalling the app also removes all local data.
Data processing & retention
Anonymous analytics are processed by Google LLC on our behalf (see Google's Privacy Policy and Firebase Privacy & Security). Analytics data is retained per Firebase's standard retention settings and is used solely to understand aggregate gameplay (e.g. "how many players finish Act 1") so we can improve the game.
Children
The Ledger Report is a historical narrative game intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; the app collects no personal information from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If we change what the app collects, we will update this page and the app's Google Play Data safety section before the change takes effect.
